Angry Taru

This incident, which shall remain for all time in FFXI history, deserves some explaination. Chipya, Kathane, Keceltes, and I were doing our CoP run. I believe Rannie and Booster also joined us. I’m not sure which mission it was for (either CoP 2-5 or CoP 4-2), but if I had to guess it would be COP Mission 4-2.

Keceltes and I, being the ready ones, arrived in Riverne before anyone else AND on time. He was a BRD and I was a BLM. While waiting patiently for the slow pokes, Keceltes gets this fabulous idea, “let’s kill some birds.” I figured it would be ok since I was an almighty and powerful BLM and Keceltes was the BRD that could sing people to sleep (because he’s boring).

Keceltes called out his warcry, “Let’s Roc!” and off we were to battle. This mightly fight seemed to be going fine. First Keceltes pulled a bird. Then I nuked it. After that, things went wrong. Keceltes couldn’t sleep the bird. He casted foe lullaby then horde lullaby then started to run away. I couldn’t make a run for it because I was beaten to a pulp and couldn’t cast worth shit. Naturally, Keceltes gets away to laugh about this later. Also I’m sure he got screenshots, but he never put it up for some reason. Oh well.

The lesson in this story is to fook Keceltes and don’t listen to him! That little bitch got me killed and didn’t even stay to die with me!!! I mean WTF?!?! His Elvaan instincts must have kicked in and he ran with his “tail” between his legs… Fuggin Elvaans… >.>

FYI: The birds look like this. And if you haven’t guessed it yet, the birds we attacked were called Lesser Rocs. I should also add that this is only my interpretation of what happened. Maybe I missed something. Maybe not. But it’s my blog so you’re stuck with it. =P
