Karmi (NIN)
Kathane (DRG)
Keceltes (PLD?)
Rahael (WHM)
Rya (WHM)
Kutan (BLM)
Aldric (DRG)
Toefer (RDM)
anyone else?

We went to Boyahda. Ran around for a bit then popped the Doomed mob. Killed it then moved on.

Then we went to Cape Terrigan. This, as it turned out as a huge bloodbath. Keceltes ran off and aggroed a gob. I casted Sleep on it then made a run for it. At one point we have to stop to resneak and reinvis. People started to run of, but Aldric didn’t have Sneak nor Invis on. He aggroed a Sand Cockatrice (I believe) then the “you’re screwed” feast began.

I attempted to sleep the cockatrice, but couldn’t since he was hitting it. Then he stopped hitting it and a Goblin behind him aggroed. I sleepga everyone, Sneak/Invis Aldric (who by the way says, “Thanks for the late Invis.”), then Sneak/Invis myself. Then we made a mad dash for the zone line.

Every now and then I had to resleep mobs, then keep on running. Eventually Aldric, Karmi, Kathane, Keceltes, and I died. There was just no use in stopping the mass flood of mobs. Luckily I used my rr gorget before dying. So when it looked like the coast was clear, I rr. Just then, a bunny started hoping around the corner. I was like fook, I’m going to get killed by a rabbit when I only have about 50 hps left. I made a run for it, but the bunny was not after me, it was after someone else. So after that other person died, the bunny disappeared. Whew what a close one. I sat down and five goblins came around the corner lusting for my blood…. and they got it. Damn… died twice.

Aldric did mention that he was a bit tired before going to Cape Terrigan, but after he died he immediately d/ced and was gone for the rest of the night. What a fooker… First he aggroes a cockatrice, blames me for not sneak/invising, and then leaves before we fight this last NM. Bastard >.<

I swear, the next time I see him, I’m breaking his pearl. It’s not just this time he annoyed me, but there are plenty of other times when he disregards the LSes advice, keeps talking for no reason, and pushes people too far. Sure we jest and insult one another, it’s like we’re family, but at least we stop after a while. I’ve had enough of him and I’m sure there won’t be a tear shed for the loss of this LS member, who, when he joined, said that he would leave once he hits 60 or 65 or something to join his friend’s LS. Yes… goodbye Aldric. No hard feelings, but I’m sure I would live a happier life without you. I just can’t take you in large doses.

Alright. I feel better now. Anyway, some people died, sad story. We killed the ZM dude easily and the people that needed it got the Wind Fragment.

Bahamut Fight V1

Monday, November 6, 2006

Time for the ultimate fight between good and evil, right and wrong, dragons and much smaller people that don’t even go up to its knees. That’s right! It’s time for the Bahamut V1 fight or as some other people like to call it, the Storms of Fate quest.

Colestin (BLM)
Nagiwazushi (MNK)
Psycokila (RDM)
Searsay (BLM)
Seyrr (THF)
Toefer (BLM)

Chipya (DRG)
Cyferis (RDM/DRK)
Itichiti (WHM)
Kathane (DRG)
Keceltes (DRK)
Unicronian (DRG)

Casolaus (NIN)
Marshmellow (PLD/NIN)
Rekiconeki (SMN)
Scripture (NIN)
Taya (RDM/DRK)
Zarchery (WHM)

The meeting time was 7:30p pst, so naturally people weren’t ready until 8:30p-9:30p. People were getting a bit impatient, so we decided to ditch Scripture. He didn’t have the quest prepared and still needed to run around and do a couple of cutscenes.

I decided to /NIN this fight since most of Bahamut’s attacks looked like they would be stopped by shadows. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring some oils/powders like a noob. >.< Of course, when we entered Riverne – Site B01 both Keceltes and Chipya said, “let’s roc.” Fookers… -.- Zarchery died along the way, but that was our only death before the BC.

Seyonne (DRG) came and took Scripture’s spot before the fight. When we entered I realized that it may not have been the best idea to go as /NIN. I had no Stoneskin, and it would have been easier for me to travel in Riverne with a little bit of Sneaking and Invising. Oh well, let’s see how I do.

I believe Seyrr, Chipya x2, Seyonne, Kathane, and Casolaus died. Most other people didn’t die, I think because either 1) They were /NIN, or 2) They were far away from Bahamut’s AoEs. I was the latter. It went really well though. Marshmellow and her leet tanking skills controlled Bahamut for the majority of the fight. I casted some Tier IV nukes every once in a while, then manafonted when we hit crunch time around 10% health. We even beat the record. It was a fairly easy fight. Especially with two Chainspell-Stunners.

Afterwards, everyone left. It was only Chipya, Kathane, Keceltes, and me. I d2 Keceltes and waited a bit. I guess Chipya and Kat were doing something else, but Chipya died. I tractored him, Kat raised him, then I d2ed them both. They didn’t want to leave yet though… Oops, sorry guys. m(_ _)m Well, I don’t really pay that much attention to what’s going on. Maybe I should stop watching TV. >.> I did say, “let me d2 you guys first” or something similar… Oh well, my bad. 0=)

Mission 5-2… The Shadowlord’s mah biatch!

Thursday, November 2, 2006

Karmi (NIN)
Kathane (DRG)
Keceltes (PLD)
Rahael (WHM)
Toefer (BLM)
Tyrni (RDM)

Having gone 2hr crazy during the last mission, Chipya came to refresh our abilities as COR. He got it first try… that’s like 6x better than Tyrni could ever do. What a fookin’ noob!

The trek out to the Throne Room in Castle Zavhl Keep took forever. The tres amigos kept aggroing things. Also FFXIclopedia was no help with directions. I had to look at my map and try to go from there. I think it took an hour or so to navigate through the whole area. If only the wiki had said to go North at H-9 in Castle Zavhl Baileys, we would have been fine.

When we finally got to the throne room, Keceltes, Kathane, Karmi, and Tyrni entered quickly. Keceltes skipped the cutscene and started to fight the Shadowlord. That resulted in me and Rahael being locked out. We had to wait for them to beat it. This was clearly Keceltes’ fault.

In the end of the fight, Keceltes and Karmi died. Kat had to beat the Shadowlord single handedly while Tyrni was cheering her on. Unfortunately they got kicked out to the beginning of Castle Zavhl Baileys so Rahael and I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to come back. It was much faster though since they left Tyrni and Karmi and actually knew the way there.

Then there were four of us. In the Shadowlord’s first form, he apparently changes physical and magical immunity pretty easily. I didn’t even see when it happens, I just notice when Keceltes and Kathane start hitting it for zero. Then I start the nukage. Rahael died. She asked if she should rr, but I told her to stay down. Other than the immunity, the first form wasn’t too hard.

The second form of the Shadowlord was a bitch. He kept AoEing us like a mofo. Sometime during his spamming AoEs, I guess Rahael got worried that we lv 75s were going to die. We did get to 1/2 health or lower. So she RRs. The next second, the Shadowlord AoEs and she’s down again. Oh well. I ran to the stairs behind him, Stoneskin, then started the holy hell of MF nukage. We beat the mission with no further deaths… Damn… I was hoping for another death by Keceltes. I’m not sure how a 75 RDM/NIN can solo him when he goes AoE crazy though… Maybe with a lot of Sleeping…

Congrats to Karmi, Rahael, and Tyrni for reaching Rank 6. Woot! Also congrats for getting Keceltes killed. Yes… precious screenshots…

Mission 5-1… It’s Skele Time!

Helping the lowbies get their mission done. I just think this is Keceltes’ way of getting them to do Zilart and Promy Missions. Or it’s just a nice thing to do for our fellow LS mates.

Karmi (NIN)
Keceltes (PLD)
Rahael (WHM)
Tyrni (BLM)
Me (BLM)

A nice level 50 capped fight. At first it looked like we were losing. When the main mobs health was at 50%, Ty and I had almost ran out of mp. Then we 2hred and just started nuking the shit out of it. Rahael bene us and I think Kec 2hred sometime ago. We managed to win without anyone dying. Woot, time for Mission 5-2!

The Celestial Nexus… Again!

Monday, October 30, 2006

Alright, time for the Celestial Nexus… Round 2!!! There was a slight party change up: we had a NIN as a sub or main job. Other than that, we had:

Chipya (DRG)
Kathane (DRG)
Keceltes (DRK)
Rekiconeki (BLM)
Scripture (NIN)
Me (RDM)

I swear I was on drugs or something for that night. Scripture forgot his rr item. I forgot my MND ring and my Reraise Gorget. Had to use my precious hairpin instead. T.T I also had no oils or powders, so I bummed some off of Chipya. Finally, something that Chipya is useful for. =)

Let’s see… the damage… Kat, Reki, Script, and Kec died. In fact I believe Kat died twice during that fight. Other than that, the fight was fairly easy especially the first form. I don’t believe anyone died then because of the /nin madness. Reki slept one orbital and I slept the other. It was a fairly controlled fight.

During the second form was when people started dying. During the last few moments when it was just Chip, Reki, and me, I used Chainspell and started to nuke away, but Reki got off her AM II nuke FTW!!! My glory. T.T At least we had a nice ending and I chainspell raised people. ^^ Yay! No more Zilart Missions for me! At least, no more new ones… We may have to assist the lowbies… Fun times baby! Fun times.
