We camped at F-7. I don’t think Highlander remembers me. In fact, I’m pretty sure I don’t really remember him… except vaguely. I’m sure he has a 75 PLD. He was bragging about his Vali’s bow and how that he gets so much hate, not even merits can save him. It kinda sucks. We didn’t have the Astral Candescence so we had to make a run for it to Bibiki Bay.

Guess i get to pull. Hmm… about the fourth or fifth pull, Highlander says that his ammo suddenly disappeared. Makes me think that he just forgot to bring some… Then the mobs became suddenly that much hard to kill. Kinda of a bad party. Wasn’t as nicely organized as I was used to. It took us a while to earn 10k (4 hours with interruptions). Perhaps it’s because of the camp spot. Highlander wanted me to pull, which I haven’t really done in a long time. Yuty thought I wasn’t a good enough puller and took over. That’s fine with me. I only changed tactics following Highlander’s suggestion of pulling more Tragopans. Unfortunately there were only two spawn points for those mobs by us. Oh well. Better luck next time.

This is my third party of the night. That’s right, I haven’t stopped leveling. I don’t have work tomorrow, so I keep on leveling. Who needs sleep anyway? I’ll just be hurting tomorrow morning. We were going to the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins, but our WHM isn’t a mercenary. Which kinda explains his under level subjob. BLM is like a staple class, why stop at 32? Way to embarrass yourself in front of all the Japanese players…

So, instead, we’re off to Bibiki Bay. Camped at G-6. Killed Tragopans and Catoblepas. Tragopans were too easy. Then Vandals, after about an hour of playing, wants to log off in half an hour. I think it’s because no one listened to him to go to Mount Zhayolm instead of Bibiki.

Sugak (SAM/THF) replaced him. Erureina (WHM/BLM) replaced our WHM. Lately I have noticed that my lullaby spells do not work. I’m fairly certain it’s because my String Instrument skill is only in the 80s (out of a max of 201). Also there’s something about how I cast my buffs that I don’t get both Ballad effects. I need to look up this info… but I guess I’ll do it later (as in I’m {too weak}).

Around 4am the party was deciding whether or not to go to Boyahda Tree (not that I really understood any of it since it was all in Japanese), I decided to leave. I was quite tired and really needed a break. I had a good run though. Earned like a whole level and 2/3rds by playing 10 hours straight in three different xp parties. The amazing thing was, I used my Olduum Ring, disbanded, type /anon, and I still managed to get a party invite. It just amazes me just how much a refresher is needed, although in most of my parties it seems they’re greedy SOBs and get both a RDM and BRD for maximum leveling speed.

What a minute? Quicky wanted to disband our last party, but then he sends me an invite for a new one? What I don’t like is that I always have to escort his ass back to the runic portal. Can’t he just get some Warp Cudgels or something? Seriously, they’re only 11k each and you don’t have to risk death.

Oh well. I guess I don’t mind that much. It’s just that people like that prevent me Warping/Teleporting back to my home point. I mean I have my Olduum Ring, Tavnazian Ring, and a Treat Staff II. Heck, I even have an Instant Warp scroll and a Ducal’s Guard Ring (2 charges left). I got it a long time ago and ended up not using all of it. Naturally I don’t like to waste things, so I just hold onto it… forever!!!

We camped at F-8 in Bhalfau Thickets. Killed Date Eruca and Colibri. Kinda of a weird set up. I didn’t really do any healing. Neither did the WHM. Damn NIN and his utsusemi.

Then the tank needed to go to work. We only earned 10k in about 2 hours. T.T

We went to camp at I-10 in Mount Zhayolm. Unfortunately, Alzard didn’t have the runic portal, so I get to walk him. Lovely.

Initially, Maddee didn’t trust my Bar-casting skills. Every time I went to cast, she ran up and casted. It just seems pointless to risk yourself even further when you don’t have to. Damn roaming RDM. I also enjoy it when she runs away from me while I’m casting Ballad. It’s lots of fun… really.

Actually this turned out to be pretty nice. We all got our act together. The RDM let me cast my bar spell, I let the RDM heal everyone, and we had a good streak going until the PLD died 3 hours into the party. We earned about 18k so far and we keep on ticking. Then I got one shotted by a Magmatic Eruca. Then Maddee felt really ill (rl) and left. I was only 2100 tnl, but I suppose if she’s really ill then I can’t help it.

Once again I had to walk Quicky and Alzard back to the runic portal. Damn people without Sneak/Invis items.

RDM died when we first came into the zone due to magic aggro to Sweeping Cluster (bomb cluster). Went to camp (L-8). I died on second pull (aggroed). I failed to sleep the mob, RDM didn’t see the mob. Then raised me in the middle of the fight. Then RDM used a huge heal and died. I kept on going, hid behind PLD to for mp regen. Incinerate killed me. The PLD dies. Where’s Invincible? I dunno. Then wandering WHM Raise III PLD. Kudos to Luccee. Bad RDM players apparently get me killed. Net loss of XP is 500 xps. Raise III is so nice. Damn you Magmatic Eruca.

PLD can’t steer mob properly… guess he won’t get ballad. Quicky kept getting aggro… THF tried to balance. PLD doesn’t listen to me about where he should stand. I like how the THF keeps pulling when it’s clear we cannot keep up this pace. Ziin can pull off the mob from the PLD too… great. Fooking Ziin keeps shouting for Dispel. Well ya know what Ziin?!?! I dispelled the mob 3 whole seconds before your chat text came up one time. Then if you add the 2 second cast time that’s like 5 whole seconds + lag/delay. So pay attention bucko. I’m not even the main dispeller.

WTF is up with the RDM using large cures when the mob is on top of her? I don’t get it. It doesn’t get the mob off of you faster, so stop fooking casting Cure IV!!!!

OMG!?! Did Ziin just say awesome party? And Quicky agreeing with him? They don’t know what an awesome party is!!! Just because we’re pulling non-stop doesn’t mean everything is OK.

PLD thinks that getting 7k in like 90-120 minutes is good? I suppose it’s good since we did die a couple of times, but we recovered quickly. This is the slowest party ever!!!! I only needed another 12k or so to lvl, I figured I would’ve hit it by now based on my other parties. It’s torture!!!! I’ll never get to lv 75 with capped xp!!! ARRRGGGHGHHHHH!!!!!

Sometime later Quicky died. It was sad.

I’m not sure how I like this RDM using Convert, then not healing herself. It’s like she has a death wish. So of course the BRD tarutaru hast to save her now.

Then the PLD and RDM get tired at the same time. Oh well… I suppose I can go to bed early tonight. At least I made it to 64. Hopefully I can get a good enough buffer to not die then delvl… I hate it when that happens. Ended the night with an extra 3200 xps. I guess that will suffice for now.

*Note: I didn’t really read through this at the time, but we did actually earn a bit more than 7k/90-120 mins. My bad. I believe we earned a total of (12000 + 3200 + 2400 + 240) ~18k for about 3-3.5 hrs of partying.
