Hmm… Didn’t Elohi have a hard time with this fight? Well, I’m sure nothing bad will happen. I mean, it’s only Diabolos. He was fairly simple during the CoP fight…
The tower entrance was right in front of the outpost warp to Fauregandi. We used Invisible for the first zone and then sneak for the rest of the way. Zoning from Red to Black to Red to Black again. The zones were pretty small, so even if you get caught, I’m sure you can make a successful run for it. It seems that you would need to complete the Pso’xja part of CoP before you can fight Diabolos.
Attempt #1:
Diabolos got Nightmare off and we fell asleep. Then he killed us one by one. Oh well… so much for chainspell > stun… The SMN also used Astral Flow anyway… T.T At least we got Diabolos to about 45% health before we lost. Used up all my mp casting tier 3 -ga spells. Now I’m 0/1.
Sageknight kicked out Tukusi since he already use his 2hr and cannot change to BLM. It seems that Tukusi also messed up the fight. Instead of Sageknight opening with astral flow, Tukusi casted Stun on Diabolos and got us all pulled in a bit early. At least I think that was the problem. We’ll have to wait for Illmatik to change jobs to RDM/DRK and recruit another BLM to join us. Luckily we found Jltt (BLM). Ya know… If we all had Poison Pots (which I suggested before we left Whitegate) then the Nightmare wouldn’t have put us all to sleep… -.-;; But maybe it was just bad luck and we don’t really need poison pots afterall.

Heh, maybe fighting Diabolos with these people was a bad idea. Elodien is 0/12 and Sageknight is 0/11. OR! Maybe they’re just overdue for a win… yah… >.>
Attempt #2:
Wow! That was easy. We beat it the second time. Illmatik did a really good job of stunning nightmare. We were never slept, kept on with the nuking madness, and the rest is history. Woot!
